How to Access Ground Water Easily

September 3, 2014

One of Southern Africa’s biggest issues today is the lack of clean water available. According to The United Nations water around Africa is unevenly distributed, meaning that 60% of the water is situated in only 20% of the land.

Less than 10% of Southern Africa’s surface water is accessible and due to the fact that a majority of their ground water lies under large rock formations, ground water becomes difficult to access as well. We, as Africans have to start looking for and implementing new solutions to remedy this ever-increasing issue.

Green Leaf Alternative Solutions has a variety of products available to counter-act against this serious problem. We are available and ready to help clients all over Southern Africa including those in rural locations with limited access to electricity.

Solar Pumping Systems

One product that we are really excited to introduce you to is the intriguing Solar Pumping System.  What is a Solar Pumping System?  It is a self-contained water pumping system that can be installed in any location that does not require a conventional electrical energy source such as the grid or a generator.  Instead, it solely uses the sun; an abundant and free energy resource available to everyone!  This is an ideal product for those who are living in remote areas that are off the grid.  It’s easy to install and there is virtually no maintenance involved.  Take a look at the diagram below to understand more in detail how this innovative system works.
