Water is a key resource that the world cannot survive without.  It has been confirmed that people in Southern Africa are living in a water-scarce country and need practical solutions to the problem of water shortages.

Our Water Harvesting and Recycling systems can produce water from thin air through the application of condensation-based technology, coupled with advanced filtration processes, producing high-quality drinking water. This is a highly sustainable and environmentally sound solution.  This is not the only system that we provide, our Grey Water Recycling and Rain Water Harvesting Systems are also designed to make a big impact in the efforts to conserve water.  Green Leaf also offers clients the supply and installation of  Septic Tanks.

Bio-mite Septic Tank Systems

Septic Tanks treat effluent, which allows you to re-use/recycle the treated water for your outdoor irrigation.  Effluent is the wastewater that comes from toilets, dishwashers and waste disposal. It makes up 15-30% of domestic wastewater.

How it works

Water is recycled within the Septic Tank, which goes through a special process before being used to water the lawn or non-food gardens via underground pipe systems.

Benefits of bio-mite Septic Tanks:

The benefits of these septic tanks are greater than one may think. Filtered effluent is not only beneficial for the home garden and lawn, but it is also good for the environment. Benefits include:

  • Less stress on septic systems
  • Conserves energy
  • Water conservation
  • Habitat protection
  • Plant growth

Backup/Buffer Tanks

TIRED OF INTERRUPTED WATER SUPPLY?
WORRIED ABOUT LOOMING WATER CUTS?

Green Leaf has a variety of affordable backup solutions for your home or business.

Backup or buffer tanks offer water security during water shortages or cuts.  The system consists of a buffer tank where the water flows through and is always kept full in case there is a water shortage/cut and the booster pump connected to the system continues to pressurise the premises using this water stored in the buffer tank.

Advantages:

  • Water security
  • Silent Pump
  • Ideal when water supply pressure is low

Rain Water Harvesting

Rainwater harvesting is the accumulation and storage of rainwater for reuse on-site, rather than allowing it to run-off.

Normally, rainwater would flow off of a roof and down a drain, never to be seen again.  By implementing Rainwater-Harvesting Systems on your property this system will collect and store rainwater, which can be used again.  Uses include water for garden, livestock, irrigation and domestic use. With added filtration, rainwater can even be recycled to drinking water.
