South Africa is one of the best destinations in the world for solar energy. This is due to the many sun-drenched areas around South Africa. By investing in solar products you are not only investing in your future and saving money but you are also guaranteed products that will function at maximum capacity.
What is a solar geyser and how does it work?
A Solar Geyser is a device that provides hot water for bathing, washing, cleaning, etc. by using solar energy. It is generally installed on the roof or terrace (wherever direct sunlight is available). It heats water during the day that is then stored in an insulated storage tank for required use.
A Solar Geyser relies on the warm water that rises, circulating water through the flat plate collector and then onto the tank. The hot water storage tank is located above the flat plate or in the roof. As water heats, it becomes lighter and naturally rises into the tank above. Meanwhile, cooler water in the tank flows downwards into the absorber, thus causing circulation throughout the system.

Why do I need one?
By installing and using a solar geyser you can save up to 40% on your water heating costs!
